Alex J. Hogarth, PA-C

Alex Hogarth, PA-C was born and raised in Traverse City, attending West Junior High and West Senior High where he was a multisport athlete in football, track, and powerlifting. He attended Northwest Michigan College (NMC) in the summers and Grand Valley State University in the fall and winter semesters where he earned multiple degrees. He received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University Traverse City cohort where he spent most of his didactic year at NMC’s University Center and clinical rotations throughout northern Michigan.
Both of Alex’s parents worked at Munson Healthcare for 43 years as an ER technician and nurse. The extreme pride they took in their jobs influenced Alex to go into the medical field. “It is a privilege to return to the community where I grew up and to serve Trauma and Acute Care Patients in northern Michigan.”
Alex has a love for continual learning, teaching, and medicine – especially trauma – and has provided his patients with specialized care for very complex and life-threatening illness.
In his free time, Alex loves spending time with his family and friends.
