Alexandra L. Tepkasetkul, DO

Dr. Alexandra Tepkasetkul is an Addiction Psychiatrist. She completed residency in general adult psychiatry, but after seeing the high prevalence of addiction, pursued a fellowship in addiction psychiatry to best help all patients. She works with people who have general psychiatric conditions, the peripartum population, and those with substance use disorders.
Dr. Tepkasetkul believes in a comprehensive approach when treating mental illness. While she utilizes pharmacotherapy, she also emphasizes the importance of psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, and community.
In her spare time, she enjoys mountain biking, riding her motorcycle, and quilting.
“People with the disease of addiction are often misunderstood as having a character flaw. In my experience they are some of the most resilient people I have met, and my aim is to help them gain back their lives through the path of recovery.”
