Alexis R. Stevens, NP

Alexis “Lexie” Stevens, FNP-C, was born in Central Michigan and moved to northern Michigan 2021.
Ever since she was a small child, Lexie knew she was going to be an emergency department (ED) nurse just like her mom. For 10 years, Lexie worked in the ED before finding a new passion in pediatric medicine during her graduate school rotation. She loves engaging with children and having the opportunity to see the world through their curious eyes. “I feel blessed to support families through the different stages of childhood.”
Lexie has a special interest in incorporating overall health and wellness into every visit as well as provide holistic care to each specific child rather than focusing on a diagnosis or medication. Additionally, Lexie is a certified lactation specialist and enjoys being a resource for moms through their unique breastfeeding journey.
“I strive to provide safe and quality care to the entire person and work to engage the child and parent in their health. I hope to develop a team approach to managing their health and supporting growth and development through childhood. I believe education, communication, and mutual decision making is vital to healthcare.”
Lexie is married and has four children, two boys and twin girls. They homeschool their children and have a farm which keeps them all very busy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to her family’s lake property, trailing riding, camping, reading, and visiting restaurants with live music.
