Angela J. Vanderkarr, NP

Angela Vanderkarr always felt medicine was her calling because of her empathy and compassion for those in need of medical assistance.

With previous experience as a cardiac telemetry and operating room nurse, Vanderkarr brings many years of patient care experience. Her advanced education has enhanced her skills to include some of the most cutting-edge medical care available.

As a primary care provider, Vanderkarr cares for newborns to older adults. She enjoys performing in-office procedures, providing health education to patients, and improving a person’s health and quality of life.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Vanderkarr moved to the United States and became an American citizen. She resided in Tampa Florida for 27 years with her husband Mark who retired from MacDill Air Force Base before moving to northern Michigan. In her free time, she loves to spend time in all four seasons including hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, rustic camping, and backpacking.
