Angela Keough, DO

Angela Keough, DO, was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. 

Dr. Keough was inspired to join the healthcare field by her mother, a registered nurse. Starting as a radiologic technologist, Dr. Keough grew to appreciate the different avenues of patient care within the healthcare system and decided to continue her education to become a physician. She chose to pursue family medicine because the field allows her to provide comprehensive care throughout a patient’s life.  

“My goal is to meet patients where they’re at and make decisions together, while sharing my professional opinion and providing insight and recommendations for preventative health maintenance,” she says. 

She has special interests in rural medicine, preventative/lifestyle medicine, women’s health, prenatal care, and musculoskeletal injuries/sports medicine. She is board certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT). 

Dr. Keough met her husband, Charlie Whittaker, DO, while attending medical school. They enjoy visiting family and exploring in Dr. Whittaker's home state of Colorado, as well as tending to their chickens and gardening projects at home. They share two dogs and are welcoming their first child in fall 2025.
