About Benjamin J. Vanos
Ben Vanos, DO, grew up in Battle Creek, MI. He attended Michigan State University and earned a B.S. in Food Science. A true Spartan, he stayed at Michigan State University for medical school, earning a D.O. from the College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his clerkship years at Munson, and is excited to continue to be a part of the Traverse City community. Munson was a natural fit for training, as he hopes to practice rural family medicine in Northern Michigan following residency. His hobbies include hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, playing the guitar and banjo, gardening, and raising his chickens. Dr. Vanos lives in Traverse City with his wife, Hannah.
