Bilal T. Malek, MD

Bilal Malek, MD is a Michigan native born in Clare and raised in Metro Detroit.  

Dr. Malek chose hospice and palliative medicine so he could support patients even when disease treatment is not an option. With a special interest in pain management, Dr. Malek uses novel methods to improve a patient’s quality of life when faced with a serious illness.  

“I believe the focus of palliative medicine is on living well with serious illness. That means taking the time to know my patients and their support teams. I value communication and collaboration and am eager to support in any way I can.” 

In his free time, Dr. Malek likes to spend time with his wife gardening, going for nature walks, and spending time outdoors.
