Brittany R. Armstrong, DO

Brittany Armstrong, DO is a Michigan native born and raised in Clarkston, spending her summers visiting Traverse City and Mackinac Island.  
Dr. Armstrong chose trauma surgery and intensive care so she could provide the most holistic care for her patients. She enjoys being involved in her patient’s care throughout hospitalization including in the emergency department, stabilizing them in the operating room, and following them through to the intensive care unit if required. She has a special interest in nutrition and how it can influence patient outcomes as well as the incorporation of multidisciplinary approaches to care.  
“I believe in close communication and appreciate the involvement of primary providers and designated family members in my patient’s care. I believe medicine is best practiced as a team to provide the best care.” 
In her free time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys hiking kayaking, camping, and exploring northern Michigan.
