CJ chose to specialize in cardiology because the field requires him to take a multidisciplinary and unique approach to each patient’s care. 
“I strive for the best clinical outcomes for my patients so that they can enjoy the most important parts of their lives,” he says. 
Outside of work, CJ and his wife lead an active lifestyle chasing after their two young boys. In his free time, he enjoys running and golfing.
