About Claire E. Ward
Dr. Ward chose the field of Allergy and Immunology because it is an exciting, expanding field where she feels she can truly make a difference in patient’s lives. She enjoys treating patients of all ages with a variety of allergy and immunology conditions, including asthma, eczema, hives, food and drug allergy, and immunologic deficiencies. She strives to provide compassionate, conscientious care by listening to patients and helping them to better understand their condition.

Dr. Claire Ward grew up in the Kalamazoo area and has fond memories travelling to northern Michigan to participate in cross-country ski races and vacation during the summer. Dr. Ward is married to her husband Joe, an orthopedic specialist. They have four children and are excited to raise their family in Traverse City. She enjoys staying active with her family, whether it’s skiing, biking, or exploring a new hiking trail
