Cory Messingschlager, MD

Dr. Cory Messingschlager is a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) on medical staff at Munson Medical Center. He attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Cleveland Clinic and received subspecialty training at an AAGL-accredited fellowship in MIGS at University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga. 
Dr. Messingschlager has a special interest in the treatment of fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and chronic pelvic pain conditions. He focuses on providing the best outcomes tailored to each patient’s needs, through minimally invasive surgical techniques including laparoscopic and robotic surgery.  
Dr. Messingschlager is driven by the opportunity to give back to the strong women role models in his life by elevating care for women, especially those who need advanced gynecological surgeries.

Dr. Messingschlager is a Michigan native raised in Elk Rapids.  He is thrilled to be back "up north" with his wife and kids. In his free time, Dr. Messingschlager enjoys running, mountain biking, skateboarding, spending time on and in the water, and reading.
