Gail L. Friedrick, PA

Gail Friedrick, PA-C, is a Michigan native born and raised in the Portage-Kalamazoo area. She graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Michigan State University with a Master of Music degree, and Central Michigan University with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
With a special interest in Endocrinology, Gail developed a passion for diabetes from Dr. Madhura Mansabdar, an amazing and influential physician she worked with early in her career. She has extensive experience, with over 10 years practicing at Spectrum Health Diabetes and Endocrinology. She has continued to learn and deepen her desire to help those with diabetes because of her patients and colleagues sharing their stories and struggles.

Gail wants her patients to know she is focused on listening to her patients and providing the most compassionate care she can. She follows evidence-based guidelines and keeps up to date on changes in diabetes and endocrine management. She wants her patients to know she is an LGBTQIA+ safe and affirming provider.
Gail is married to her husband Phil, a United Methodist pastor. They have three children, two grandchildren, and two well-loved and spoiled cats. In her free time, she likes to garden, cook, read, and is a musician – playing the piano and organ.
