Georgia Plagens, PA-C

Georgia Plagens, PA-C, is a Michigan native from Ann Arbor.  

Before pursuing her graduate degree, Georgia worked in an orthopedic setting, where she developed a passion for the field that continued to grow throughout her physician assistant studies. She enjoys the hands-on and problem-solving aspects of the specialty and combining her interests in anatomy and imaging with patient care.  

“I love being able to build relationships with my patients and help them get back to the activities and lifestyle they love. It’s very rewarding to watch patients improve and to play a part in their recovery,” she says.  

Outside of work, she enjoys boating, reading, exercising, wake surfing, snowboarding, and skiing. She is a huge University of Michigan football fan and also loves watching the Detroit Lions and Red Wings.
