Glen Ackerman, MD, is a neurohospitalist with more than 30 years of experience. 

Dr. Ackerman was drawn to the field of neurology because it is fascinating and constantly advancing. He also appreciates the opportunity to diagnose a patient through interviews and neurological examination, while not relying primarily on testing.  

“The most enjoyable parts of practicing neurology for me have been the challenge of solving a complex problem by interviewing and examining a patient, and then having the opportunity to sit down with them to educate and answer their questions,” he says.
