Grace A. Breuer, MD

Grace Breuer, MD, was born and raised in Midland, Michigan. She spent her summers exploring northern Michigan including time at a family cabin in Higgins Lake. She further fell in love with living in Northern Michigan during her family medicine rotation in St. Ignace and pediatrics rotation in Petoskey. 
Dr. Breuer chose to pursue family medicine because she enjoys being able to treat patients throughout their lifetime, see whole families, and manage the entire spectrum of healthcare. She chose to also train in psychiatry because there is a lack of adequate mental health care and it is a field that is often misunderstood. Her experience in both fields allows her to provide a larger range of care for those who are most in need. 
“I am here to work with my patients, without judgement, to help them understand their health so we can manage it together. I am here to be an educator and an advocate, as well as a physician,” she says. 
Her special interests include women’s health, including contraception, prenatal care, lactation medicine, and perinatal mental health, as well as substance use disorders, and pediatrics. 
Dr. Breuer is married with two young boys and a dog. She enjoys hiking, baking, and board games, as well as watching Bluey with her kids, and F1 with her husband on the weekends.
