About Jean M. McDonough
Born in Belleville, Illinois, Jean McDonough lived in Germany and metro Detroit before moving to Charlevoix when she was 13 years old.
Family medicine holds a special place in Jean’s life. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages from birth to end of life and helping them with both their mental and physical health. She has a special interest in seeing teenagers and helping them through the trials of growing up and watching her patients reach their full potential.
“I care about each of my patients and work hard to help them succeed. I believe in preventative health and controlling chronic disease to prevent long-term complications.
Jean still lives in Charlevoix and has been married to her husband for over forty years. They have raised five children and have twelve grandchildren. She loves animals, music, and the outdoors.
