John E. Brunner, MD

John Brunner, MD, was born in Detroit and raised in Northwest Ohio.
As an endocrinologist, Dr. Brunner finds the intellectual and diagnostic challenges presented by complex glandular disorders with multiple symptoms to be particularly engaging. He appreciates the long-term relationships formed with patients and the opportunity to make a significant impact of their lives by improving their quality of life and preventing complications. Dr. Brunner has a special interest in treating and managing diabetes to prevent complications such as vision loss, renal failure, and painful neuropathy. Additionally, he enjoys the constantly evolving nature of the field which allows him to continuously learn.
Dr. Brunner loves spending time in northern Michigan with his wife. He enjoys all water-related activities, travel, and being with his grandchildren.
