John Kutschke, MD

John Kutschke, MD, chose a career in psychiatry because of his desire to help others while doing work he finds personally rewarding. 

"Every patient has a unique story. My goal is to listen, understand their individual needs, and work together to find solutions," he says.  

Dr. Kutschke has special interests in treating bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), substance use disorders, and personality disorders.  

He utilizes a variety of treatment options in his practice, including medications, therapy, lifestyle changes, such as physical activity, diet, and sleep, and other complementary treatments. 

Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, cooking, cross country skiing, playing chess, and coffee roasting.
