About Joseph A. Rexroat
Joseph Rexroat, MD, is a Michigan native born and raised in Lake Leelanau.
Dr. Rexroat went to Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital. “The medical field gives me the privilege to improve someone’s health and interact with people one on one.”
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Rexroat enjoys the diversity of medical conditions and people he can serve. “I firmly believe that the best medicine requires me to listen first and be receptive to new ideas or information to best serve my patients. Sometimes the answer to a medical problem comes from the patient if we listen.”
Dr. Rexroat has a family of four. He enjoys all sports, especially fat tire biking.
