About Katharine M. Julian
Katharine (Katie) Julian, FNP, is a Michigan native, born in Ann Arbor and raised in Birmingham. Katie chose nursing because it focuses on holistic, patient-centered care, and education. She has a special interest in hospice, palliative care, and chronic pain management.
“My favorite thing about nursing is the close relationships I have formed with patients and their families. It is fulfilling to help patients identify their health care goals and provide support to help patients meet those goals.”
In her free time, Katie swims with Traverse City's Masters team and enjoys open-water swimming and paddling. She had two therapy dogs on staff at Munson and looks forward to more volunteer activities.
