Katie J Strittmatter, NP

Katie Strittmatter, FNP, is a Michigan native born raised in West Branch. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University. She lived and worked in Midland for two years before moving to Traverse City. She went to graduate school through Michigan State University where she graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing.
From a young age, Katie always knew she wanted to be a nurse practitioner. Her healthcare provider was an FNP and took excellent care of her and she always looked up to her.
Katie’s favorite part of practicing medicine is making healthcare decisions and goals with her patients and never for them. She enjoys partnering together to help patients of all ages live healthier lifestyles while also working with them to overcome challenges.

Katie has been married to her husband since 2011. She has three outstanding children: Violet, Iris, and Philip. They love to go camping, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and just enjoying their time outdoors. They also have an elderly dog, Bernie, who they adore.
