Kegan M. Rummel, DO

Kegan Rummel, DO, is a Michigan native who grew up in Lake Leelanau and has spent his entire career in the mitten state. He is a board-certified general surgeon and went to Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2015.  
He continues both clinical practice and academic pursuits as an associate clinical professor of surgery at MSU and has helped to teach students from Central Michigan University and Grand Valley State University. Dr. Rummel is a published author who has researched and presented material throughout Michigan and nationally to his peers. 
He enjoys the variety that comes with a general surgery practice. Although he does not have a favorite procedure, his interests include hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, colon surgery, stomach surgery, breast surgery, and thyroid surgery, amongst others. 
When not in the office, Dr. Rummel likes spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, outdoor activities, and woodworking.
