Dr. D'Angelo has a particular interest in arthroscopic knee and shoulder reconstruction. His philosophy of care is to treat the patient, not the x-rays. Also, surgery is sometimes necessary, but can be frequently be avoidable.
"I try to make sure that I listen to the patient, understand what their problem is, what their complaint is, and then formulate a plan to solve those problems. I try not to focus as much on what an x-ray or MRI says is broken or torn as that is frequently not the source of the patient's complaint."
