About Matthew Ayres

Matthew Ayres, MD, was born in the United Kingdom and raised in Wichita, Kansas. 

Dr. Ayres is trained in general urology and has special interests in robotic surgery, stone disease, outlet procedures, male sexual health, and female pelvic medicine. He is focused on providing evidence-based care to improve health outcomes and quality of life for his patients. 

“I enjoy helping patients navigate new health conditions by providing information and care,” he says.  

Outside of work, Dr. Ayres is an avid swimmer and enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, and skiing. He and his wife are excited to be a part of the Northern Michigan community.
