Dr. Prasanthi Yelavarthy has joined Traverse Heart & Vascular as a board certified interventional and structural cardiologist. She also practices in the East Region. Dr. Yelavarthy is interested in providing her patients with the care that they need so that they can go back to living their life to the fullest.
"I became interested in medicine after my grandfather had a heart attack, I wanted to become someone who can help a patient and his/her family through those challenging times as the doctors have done for my grandfather and our family.”
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys playing and watching tennis and she would love to go to all the 4 opens one day.
