Dr. Castro-Apolo's favorite part of practicing medicine is making a significant difference in his patients' quality of life. He thrives on helping them feel better and enjoys the intellectual challenge of solving complex medical cases. His dedication to his patients' well-being is evident in his commitment to providing the highest quality of care. 

Choosing neurology was a natural fit for Dr. Castro-Apolo, as he finds this field to be one of the most noble and intriguing areas of medicine. During his residency, he was drawn to the complexities and challenges of neuro critical care. His special interest lies in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, a condition that fascinates him due to its intricacies and the rapid changes it can bring about.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Castro-Apolo enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, which includes his wife, two children, and cat. He is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, sports, and various outdoor activities.
