About Roger H. Maillefer
Dr. Roger Maillefer is a 1998 graduate of Grand Rapids Surgery Program. He practiced General Surgery for 23 years west of Chicago and now joins Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Surgeons. He has special interests in hernias, gallbladders, and cancer treatments. He also has procedural expertise in Laparoscopic surgery.
Having had operations himself, he understands that surgery is an anxious time. By recognizing and knowing those fears, he desires to remove that fear of the unknown by clarifying the path leading up to surgery, which can maximize short- and long-term recovery.
Dr. Maillefer is married with five grown children. He has a deep faith and enjoys mentoring, mission work, volunteering, outdoor recreation, and home improvement projects.
