Samantha K. Windle, DO

Dr. Samantha Windle is a northern Michigan native from Houghton Lake.

As a primary care physician, Dr. Windle’s mission is to create a team centered around her patients’ priorities and goals while ensuring they have optimized, evidence-based, and safe care.

Dr. Windle chose family medicine because of the breadth of skills, knowledge, and experiences it offers. “It is a unique specialty in medicine where in one day I can welcome a new baby, empower a patient to finally stop smoking, give someone the tools to manage their depression, celebrate with a patient who has taken back control over their diabetes, provide interventions to prevent a heart attack, and help guide a patient and their family to uphold their wishes and dignity through goals of care or end-of-life discussion.”

Dr. Windle has a special interested in weight management, medication-assisted treatment, gender affirming care, osteopathic manipulative therapy, and chronic disease management including diabetes and hypertension.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Bill, two sons Will and Henry, and her two dogs. She loves to head to parks on the weekend, go for family walks, watch football on Sundays, and enjoy beautiful northern Michigan biking trails.
