Stephen L. Welsh, MD

Dr. Welsh graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in Grand Rapids. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  
Dr. Welsh enjoys getting to know his patients and learning about them from their stories and experiences. "Family medicine offers incredible variety and a wide scope of practice that is challenging and engaging as we diagnose and treat the medical conditions of our patients. Preventative care is the foundation of my practice, and partnering with my patients to achieve good health and prevent illness is my highest priority."
When not seeing patients in the clinic, Dr. Welsh enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, backpacking, skiing, and scuba diving. He is also an avid bird hunter and enjoys archery and ice fishing.
