About Susan E. Korson
Susan Korson, PA-C, is a northern Michigan native born in Traverse City and raised in Suttons Bay.
From a young age, Susan has been fascinated with the medical field. Her career as a physician assistant was inspired and influenced by the people in her life who worked in medicine. Her goal and hope was to always live in northern Michigan to give back to the community she calls home.
Susan’s favorite part of practicing medicine is how knowledge of diseases continues to change for the better. Through research and development of new medications, she can better understand diseases and help patients. She loves getting to know her patients and developing working relationships with them.
“My goal in treating patients is to not only help them feel better but to also educate my patients on the diseases they are dealing with, fostering a joint decision-making process that will provide them the best care possible so they feel the most comfortable moving forward.”
Susan lives in Leelanau County with her son and husband. She loves spending time with family outdoors exploring northern Michigan.
