Thomas J. Yax, MD, is a Michigan native born and raised in Rochester Hills.
Dr. Yax chose to practice family medicine because he enjoys caring for patients of all ages. “My favorite aspect of family medicine is being there to support my patients through the difficult times and being there to celebrate the triumphs.”
In addition to being a family medicine physician, Dr. Yax teaches clinic and hospital medicine at Munson Family Practice Residency.
Dr. Yax is married to his wife, who practices veterinary medicine. Together they have three children and too many pets.
